So, point in case, the aggravation of some people thinking that what they do is 1, a "mod" and 2, that it is "hardcore"

I like to think that if some people <caugh>me included<caugh> would not rant, complain and do something, pretty soon this forum would be full of ball tuggers, long hair people, long nails, sounders, dildo enthusiasts, nipple clampers and the likes.
I know this is an open community and very accepting, but, I think it should be of the general consensus that one should "restrict" a little the mod forums to actual mods, and actually restricting a little bit the scope of the word "mod" or "body modification" would be greatly beneficial.
This is mostly related into keeping a minimum quality, seriousness and credibility to this site, this is not just a place for some entertainment but it is of course a valuable resource for people into body modifications.
Of course, general forums, journals walls and such should be pretty much as they are, free for one to express what ever they want.

The worse, was actually some dude who posted a photo of just and only is erect penis. Nothing else, and, it happened that his penis has a slight curve to the side, THAT curvature was his claim to a mod. I welcomed him to 90% of the world's male population.
How are we not supposed to be somewhat aggravated with such situations, specially when they involve someone who get's stubborn and stupid on it, and when they become far too common?

Dude curved dick? That is lame.  I mean hell we all go through the pains of getting our mods.  And though some may consider it if you were circumcised at birth i dont consider that a mod just mutilation.

I've seen a photograph of a Ford posted as a piercing. A car is a mod? It was a couple of years ago and was deleted pretty fast, but still!

I agree, entirely too many fetish posts lately of penis related material and pics. I consider myself to be open minded but the forums are getting hijacked by posers and I am tired of seeing the same posts over and over again about the things we can do with a penis.
 
Penis penis penis, its starting to get old people and we are definitely losing credibility in the industry as a serious modification site with the recent troll patrol, its almost as if they were sent here to ruin this site by making people jump ship which I know has been happening because I am getting messaged by people who are leaving this site for a while until the trolling gets handled.

Remember kids, the best way to make someone go away is by not playing with them. I learned that the hard way a few years ago and lost some friends over it.

I handle the vast majority of moderation myself, the other moderators check in a few times a month, and they are appreciated, but the day in and day out is just me, so most of the on the fly decisions are made based on my interpretation of the TOS and previous mandates by Adam.

I have heard the complaints, and I agree with most of what you guys are saying, and as such I will tighten the reins a bit, but there is a fine line between being aggressive with moderation of content and censorship and content fascism so to speak that could be equally damaging to the site. There are people on both sides of the aisle on any issue, and being fair is important, so I am hesitant to change policy without damn good reason. It seems the consensus is we have that reason.
