I'm really wanting to get my inner conches pierced and at some point to around a 6Ga or 4Ga. Just wondering if anyone thinks it would be a better idea to pierce and stretch, or to scalpel/dermal punch.

If you don't want to deal with stretching, dermal punches are the way to go!

May I interject with another pertinent question on this topic?

I went ahead & got my left inner conch done (it was a great experience). But yeah... I got it pierced with a 6Ga needle. I am going to start stretching in about a year or so & I'm getting the right inner conch done in a month (maybe two).

I stretched mine to 6Ga without any bigger problems but it took me about 4 months to get there.

I was told stretching it is unsafe. stretching cartilage in general is unsafe. I say just get it punched. thats what i did :)

You are incorrect. Stretching, done properly is very safe
