So today i went to go get a dermal put into my chest right above my cleavage. I went to HTC and the man that did it used the needle method.
While he was pushing it in it popped and then he was done and it was all the way in. I have never had dermals before but it seemed very quick and not too painful. I know i just got it today but the gem lays perfectly flat against my skin and it looks beautiful.
My question is. . what is the probability that this piercing will reject?
i have looked up a few stories online and most seemed to end with the dermal having to come out. and do you have any tips for me so i can keep it as long as possible with no hassle? (:
thank you

Your story is a positive story so far.
If it remains a positive story, then I doubt you will write much more about it.
This might explain the ratio of bad stories to good ones.

Wallie is on it... being diligent with your aftercare and avoiding snags will be your best bet.

Quick, edit your post to say "Microdermal" instead of "Dermal", otherwise you get the terminology nazi's on your ass!

In addition to aftercare and not snagging the ending, be aware of pressure on the jewelry. If your breasts are large, esp. try to sleep on your back or stomach, rather than on your side. Uneven pressure has been the death of many a cleavage microdermal.

HTC is a good piercing place. I assume they gave you an aftercare sheet and note to contact them if you have any question correct?
Also wear bandages on it for the first week. The thing is even if it's well into months or even years of healing, the little bump/snag could still irritate the piercing and cause a rejection so one could never tell...
