Ok, first things first. I am working on the venue again this year, and need to know what you guys think would work best.

The 4th of July in on a Sunday this year. The past two years we have done a Fri Sat Sun event, but with the 4th on Sunday this year, does that mean most people will be off on Mon the 5th instead of Friday?

Should I adjust the schedule to be Sat, Sun, and Mon this year?

Once the venue dates are nailed down, I will start the invitation process, suspension lists, and artists round up. As is tradition, the artists who showed last year get first option. I believe you will definitely see some familiar faces.

This thread is just for the schedule question....we will get to the other stuff shortly.

I think those dates are good Although it could be cool to be the fri, sat, sun again... Then maybe have the BBQ on the 4th.. So that the actual day is for members only kinda thing? All us hanging out. I dont really mind though. Most people last year left either sunday or monday as they had to get backfor work so not sure what they wanna do.

I CANNOT WAIT. Im working on getting there :D

Jake, If it follows the same format as previous years, then it will be open to any and all members. Some of the events will probably also be open to the public.

Skindependence is open to all members (I believe you should be active and participate on the forum too).

As for the dates, I'm going to be out in Montana until the 10th anyway so it doesn't affect me either way lol BUT, I think that the Friday, Saturday, Sunday dates worked really well last time-- especially for those who had to drive a longer distance and could use Monday as their drive home day. But like you said, the majority may have that Monday off instead of Friday. Hm... looks like my opinion = useless haha
