At the request of my parents and my boss, I've decided to close up my stretched lobes. I do like stretching my ears but I'm not as crazy about it now as I was before. I figure I can probably stretch them back later in life if I so desire, but for now I'd like to be able to wear standard gauge earrings and such.
I've been stretched to 0g for almost 2 months, and I've been stretching them for about 9 months since the healing of the original piercing, pierced at 16g. I've never had a blow out, and my ears have never bled, although once in a while I'd get crusties that looked a bit like dried blood.
I took out my 0g plugs about 12 hours ago, and right now they're perfect circles, that look to be about a 4g or 6g although I know they could probably accommodate a 2g or so, because my naked lobes always look smaller than what their actual gauge is.

Anyway. Besides not wearing jewelry in them is there anything I should be doing to help them close up? Should I wear smaller jewelry in there, like backtracking through the sizes or just go totally naked? Should I use Vitamin E Oil or something else?
And when do you think I will be able to wear regular earrings in there? If they only shrink to a 10g, will it hurt to wear standard gauge earrings?

When I downsized I didn't wear anything in my ears and didn't put anything on them.  That's just my opinion though I'm no pro.

massage them. to help them relax. but that's about all you can do. it may take awhile.

I've been thinking about downsizing then stretching back up to build up tissue, and yeah I'm pretty sure all you do is take them out, rub them and put oil on to help?

just leave them naked. it wont happen overnight could take a few days might take a few weeks.

problem with my body is my piercings never heal...it rejects them...so whenever my lipring or plugs fall out[im at a 1/2 inch] i gotta restretch them again...

for example, they will fall out in my sleep, ill wake up and have to stretch them from a 0g back up to a 1/2inch  but its not excruciating.


but ive never tried to downsize...but i guess just go naked.

just leave the size and wear tiny solid plain black plugs 0g ain't that big,

This sounds stupid and i don't know this from my own experience so can't garuntee it works but i hear heamoroid cream works a treat. No joke i've actually heard that.

Leave jewelry out completely and do oil massages to help avoid wrinkly tissue as it closes.  You can wear whatever size you want as long as you wear a style that won't pull through.

then again ive had my 1/2inchers for a good year and a half two years now...
