there should be an s at the end but it ran out of space, sorry.
What does your significant other (boyfriend, girlfriend, fiance, wife, husband, etc.) think of your piercings, tattoos, and or hardcore mods?
Do they have any of their own?
Would you ever take a piercing out or not get something because of your S.O.?
My girlfriend thinks its kind of silly but accepts my love of piercings and tattoos. She tells me she's glad I took out the eyebrow ones because they looked bad on me but I took them out because they never healed. She calls my vertical and standard industrial my ear toothpicks and is always apologizing when she touches them, even though they don't hurt anymore. She calls my nostril screw my snot catcher and she calls my plugs "crusties" although I keep my piercings and their jewelry very clean, just like the rest of me.
She doesn't complain about my tongue piercing but she thinks its stupid that I'm stretching it. I don't think she knows I plan to split it in 2 years but I've heard her talk about how disgusting split tongues look.
Maybe I can convince her into it, maybe not.
She doesn't talk too much about my tattoos. When I talk about my plans for future tattoos she rolls her eyes but doesn't say anything.
I've dumped a boyfriend for trying to make me take out my piercings, but I don't exclusively date modded people, obviously, as my girlfriend has no piercings/tattoos nor any desire for them.
I'm curious to know what other people have to deal with.

I've never had a problem really at all, had 2 S.O's since being modded, and neither of them have minded, they just supported my decisions really :) Which was nice. I wouldn't make any changes in my appearance for a significant other, its the same as the fact i wouldn't wear any clothes FOR someone, i do what i want for myself, not other people :)

The majority of people I have dated aren't very modded, and often don't underdstand how deep my interest goes. I've been told before that part of their attraction to me was my piercings etc, and some of them even end up getting one with me LoL. This is always cute. I've also dated some people who have BEGGED me not to do certain things. Depending on whether or not it would effect them personally (i.e when kissing etc) I may take their opinion into consideration.
I think it's incredibly safe to say that in my current relationship, there is finally an understanding of my interest in modifications, as well as a lot of support. It's really nice to share it with someone. I'm preeeeetty sure Sean likes my work too.

She loves them and I love hers. They were the reason we got together so we couldn't possibly dislike them.

My wife did a few of my piercings, she's into mods too, so it works out great.

i doubt the one i'm interested in is worried about my mods...she's got a few of her own that are pretty hardcore. the only mods i'd remove for anyone are ones that make certain activities difficult...

I was deeply into mods once I started dating my fiancee and she kinda picked up modding once we got together. It was something she was always into but wasn't able to do due to a very strict and traditional upbringing. She's done a few of my piercings. It's cool to share something you're so passionate about with someone you love. I'm very lucky :D

Mine loves the paintings but hates the jewllery. I'm getting a new monroe and hes against it but I think I'm starting to ease him into it....kind of. It's not for them it's for you, and making it apart of who you are because it interests you...and if they do not want to accept that then that is their problem, not yours. Plus, he does stuff I hate all the time and I've learned to love alot of those things so tough shit.

I got my PA at the request of my ex-wife. She didn't like it. I wasn't going to take it out. To the best of my knowledge, our divorce has nothing to do w/ the piercing.

My boyfriend doesnt mind my mods, if anything he is totally supportive. He actually got his first tattoo a few weeks ago and this was the same guy that when i met him 4 years ago said he would NEVER EVER get a tattoo. It was a pretty special moment haha
