Saturday, July 5th (The Hang) MontanaPiercer and his crew will be doing FREE suspensions and flesh pulls for any BodyMod.org member that wants it! Yes, Free! suspension ../wiki%7Ex%7Esuspension.htm - isn't about money. It's about a life experience. This is the opportunity for those that have always wanted to join the ranks of those that have soared but couldn't afford it (or find anyone that is competent enough to do it). In addition to the free suspensions, other artists will be on site to do various types of body mods for you if you wish. This is a party / gathering event, so even if you don't want to be put up, you can (and should!) still come to support your new friends and make even more =) Suspensions will begin at 4pm at MontanaPiercer's studio: Jimmy's Tattoo Oasis http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&q=2718+Minnesota+Ave,+billings+mt&sll=37.0625,-95.677068&sspn=35.357014,63.28125&ie=UTF8&ll=45.787038,-108.503036&spn=0.06081,0.123596&z=13&iwloc=addr - See it on Google Maps! The entire studio will be closed Saturday for this event. Obviously

list for all suspensions and flesh pulls. Sign up now if you know you
will be there and want a free suspension
by a crew that is experienced and will treat you like family. On the
day of suspensions, we will go down the list. If your name is called,
and you're not there, we will skip you and go to the next name down. There are 2 bars next door (The Wheel and The Western) for those that are not suspending and that are just there for the show. The Western serves food (burgers, pizza, fish and chips, etc) all night to keep your bellies full. If you were suspended on Saturday, you are able to get a free tattoo from MontanaPiercer with the 'Off the Hook' logo to signify your suspension. This is completely optional for those that wish to get it done. This is also the night where we will say farewell to each other. Lots of friendships and memories will be made, but all good things must come to an end.
If you want to fly, it's amazingly affordable to get there. I'm
flying from New York City (US East coast), and it's around $400 round
trip. I'm planning on camping and enjoying a weekend out of the city,
so expenses will be pretty much nothing. Check out http://www.orbitz.com - orbitz.com and
http://travelocity.com - travelocity.com for cheap airfares. If you fly, we can coordinate pickups from the
airports and to/from the various events with others that will have
cars. We're all friends, so we don't mind hooking each other up =) [anyone notice the pun there?

We drove by on the way to pick up fireworks and visually I'm not sure where the fire was. Unless it was on the backside fo the building or just inside, I just don't see wtf. Maybe the venue can be salvaged in some way? Of course, 4 hours after they still had 4 trucks on scene doing cleanup/salvage, so something happened...somewhere. It sucks either way. |

That will be a drag if the venue is a no go. Unfortunately I'm in New York & will only be able to get out as far as Wisconsin in mid August. Had I known earlier in the year (or even two months ago) I may have been able to show. FREE SUSPENSION! Very enticing indeed, but such is life. Couple of updates in regards to recent issues: 1. Party is still a go, even though there was a fire =). Apparently, only a small portion of the venue caught on fire, but we'll still be fine. Wasn't a part that we will be using. 2. As of right now, this isn't planned as a yearly event. Although this isn't really my call, because this whole shindig is being hosted by MontanaPiercer. I guess it'll prolly be determined by the turn-out as well. .: Adam -------------

| MOST excellent. I was concerned there would be bigger problem, but wanted to make it known as soon as I learned of the fire. As close as it was to the start of Skindependence, I was worried the venue would become problematic. |
