I'm a Laboratory Assistant in Blood Sciences (Haematology and Biochemistry combined) and I also do venesection work. I really enjoy my job, i'm a bit of a science lover, always have been.

 

In my free time I create bonsai, I have quite a large collection now- although most are in the early stages of growth.

I also keep fancy goldfish and I have a lovely syrian hamster (Jables).

I enjoy walks in the wood on sunny days, and like many others, I do enjoy a good bit of shopping!

I also love cooking and food in general.

I also like keeping orchids, I have a few of the normal phalaenopsis, and a gorgeous smelling zygopetalum.

I'm a book worm, I read pretty much everyday. I'll read anything, so long as it's good. My favourite author is Dan Brown, he's awesome, I just wish he'd hurry up and write some more books.

I'm a vegetarian, have been for about 5 years. Mostly because I don't like the taste or texture, but I do have moral issues with it to. I'm not the type of person who gets offended if other people eat meat. It's not a problem to me.

I love nice handbags, shoes and clothes...

I love my ears. They're the only part of my body that I really like. I'm taking my time modifying them as they're my babies and I don't want to ruin them! (lol)

I want millions of tattoos, but I realise the importance of making my decisions carefully, which is why I only have 2 so far. I tend to spend about 6 months deciding whether or not to get a piece of wok done. I also liek to design my own tattoos, which takes me ages.

I have a fabulous boyfriend, we've been together nearly 3 years. He's my best friend which is lovely :).

I want a microdermal or two but can't decide where to put it/them.

On the other hand, I just attained my State Tested Nurse Aide certification, and I start college here on monday for Medical Laboratory Technology. I figured at 40k a year, I'd be able to support myself through tattoo training, and my affinity for art.

I have a guy. His name is Teddy and he irritates me most of the time, but I love him. He's waay into video games, so far into them he didn't get a job for a year to play them... and now he's supposed to start college to make video games... lol...  we actually were supposed to start school in 2006 at the same time, but we both held back (me while I was apprenticing for piercing and would have gone on to tattoo) and then randomly met about 6 months later, and we've been together pretty much since. Officially at a year and a half since Jun 11 lol. At any rate, you don't wanna hear about this, back to my interests.

 

I love fantasy novels, some of my favorite authors consist of Piers Anthony, Christopher Stasheff, Joel Rosenburg, Jacqueline Carey, and of course,  Laurell K. Hamilton. I am fast approaching addiction with her novels, I have all of them except for 3, and I have read 2 of the three. lol.

 

I also have 2 rats and a cat. Ingrid and Wendel the rats, and Zim the cat.

Friends that have known me for years still can't figure me out compleatly & have a hard time discribing me to others...

 

Things I like are: motocross, quilting/sewing, moshing, bead/jewelry work, all music except country, obviously bodymods, tea parties, scrapbooking, rowing, shopping, and keeping up my freekishly long (natural) nails.

 

I'm generally a shy person, very respecful around adults (no swearing infront of anyone 10+ years older).  And depending upon the friends I'm around I can be a total spaz, dork, prep, goth, hippie...I mold into my surroundings...for that reason most of my friends do not get along with one another (cuz they're all from such different social groups) and can't figure out why I'm friends with them...so planning a b.day party can be difficult!

 

Oh and to top it off, I'm very tall & apparently look intimidating when I am doing nothing...one of my best friends confessed that the first day she sat next to me in class she thought 1) I'd punch her if she said the wrong thing & 2) my voice would be deep.  I am actually (for the most part) a gental person with a high soft voice...I think thats all I am

I work at Woolies as a service operator or sometimes in other departments when needed. This severely prevents me from getting more mod's.

I hate when customers touch my hands. I'm forever sanitizing my hands after dealing with someone who has come into the store sick to spread germs.

I finished my HSC last year. Was sick all through it. Ended up with a sucky UAI. Planned to take a year off before further study anyway but now I'm thinking of applying to Uni ASAP in an undergrad' course. I want to study nutrition (I think). I can't stay in the same job for very long, I can't seem to stay with one person for long, I go through periods where I lose any friends I had because I stop going out.

Right now I'm really cold!!

I obey the laws of the english language as much as I can and I don't like to see them violated too much!

I have a very professional job, even though I have that word: professional.  What I do, though, I enjoy, which is amazing, as if I had to do it all over again, I'd be a marine biologist.  Even my mother wants to know why I don't volunteer to play with the animals at the aquarium...because I'm so informed and love that place so very much.  One of the docents there, the other day, asked me if I was a biologist, lol. 

 

I am constantly trying to find myself and enjoying everything that life brings.  It's a great journey, isn't it?  I have fun as much as I can!  I travel, almost constantly.  Whenever I have a chance - I go.  This year, I found a way to get to Las Vegas (for APP), where I'd never been.  I'm also going to Big Pine Key, The Dry Tortugas and San Francisco.  Hopefully, next year, when I get a big raise, I'll add Denmark and Guatemala to my list of places I will go to!  I'm thinking next year...  Wherever I go, I leave friends.  I have a rat-tag, world-wide network of good people I'm blessed to have met.  I love them all.  :)

 

I draw and paint, sing badly, love animals, have cats, am always trying to be in better shape and never have much time.  I love hanging with my friends, having a nice dinner, drinking a fun adult beverage and reading.  I also very much hate saying NO to things...that's not what life is about...
