Just got home from an all day music festival here in Melbourne where I saw:
Stone Sour
Anthrax
Blink 182
Slayer
Tomahawk
Kyuss Lives
A Perfect Circle
Metallica
And missed a lot of decent (and some not so decent) bands due to time clashes. Some were:
The Vandals
Killswitch Engage
Bullet for my Valentine
Amity Affliction
Linkin Park

Im not sure how I feel about SLAYER sharing a stage with fucking stone sour
or blink 182. I don't even mind Blink 182 so much, but stone sour?! really?!

Mike, there were about 9 stages. The main stages were 1a, more metal so Anthrax, Slayer, Metallica etc and 1b, things like Linkin Park, Stone Sour, APC. I hadn't seen SS before and, yeah, won't be going again in a hurry.
Other bands there (again some questionable ones) were:
Cypress Hill (prob good for the free fumes)
Garbage
Offspring
Bring me the Horizon
Paramore
Billy Talent, amongst others.

Sounds like a good festival though man. Definitely some heavy hitters in there

Adult stage/kiddie stage(guage stage) , keeps everyone happy. On a side note anthrax were soo much better with john bush than joey

Yeah, pretty much nailed it Celt. I did want to see APC though so that was my kiddie stage effort for the day. The rest was all main stage. I was pretty impressed with Anthrax, and so was the whole of the crowd when they pulled out a cover of AC/DCs TNT.
Yeah it was a great day Mike. Couldn't pass up the opportunity of this lineup when I got the chance for a ticket.
