Anyone else catch this one on BME a couple of weeks ago?

It's an awesome video and I'd definitely watch the whole thing if you have some time to kill.

I think it's amazing how the Sinner Team has pushed the boundaries of suspension with their free-falls, while still doing it in what appears to be a safe, well thought out manner.

I loved that suspension. Though, I have read people say they think it didn't look super safe. Either way, I love it. I can't get enough of their work.

I was at least impressed that they enlisted the help of that climber friend of theirs. It was obviously important that they get the rigging, trajectory, etc. right and he seemed to know how to do that properly.

I agree though, very very cool stuff.

the safest route is to stay home and not do it, obviously any suspension has dangers, some more so than others.... sometimes it really is just about the rush

there are many examples in our society where the rush and or the performance is more important.... drag racing, bull riding, mma fighting, bungee jumping.... we do it anyway

no one has died from it, something that can't be said about any of my other examples

I really don't think it will become as widespread a thing as 'regular' suspension - if only because of the large area one would need to organise everything and the huge amount of technicality it involves.

It is a very interesting concept and I cannot imagine what it would feel like.... also, it takes balls to jump.

Those guys take a lot of safety precautions and use backups in case the rigging or skin fails. They have been called out and have responded to questions regarding their safety. But yes these suspensions are way more dangerous than your average suicide suspension.  NOT TO BE TRIED AT HOME! lol

How big is your house? Does it pays so good to be a piercer? I thought it was the crisis everywhere....
