So for awhile now I've been considering getting a vch done. I was wondering how much it HONESTLY hurts and how long the pain lasts???? I'm really interested in it but I don't want it to affect my walk lol. Also, does it close up quick if you take it out for a short period of time? Would I need to take it out once I have kids, like as far as delivery goes? One other thing,I heard it enhances pleasure, well if I take it out, does it make the pleasure go way down?? Please answer asap,I'm hoping to get it done soon! Thanks in advance!!!

My VCH was my first genital piercing, I got it 5 years ago. The pain is different for everyone, but for me it didn't hurt much at all - a quick pinch and it was over. Really no soreness after that and it healed quickly.
Mine doesn't enhance pleasure, although it doesn't hurt it either.
I have heard that they need to be removed to deliver a baby, but I wouldn't know from experience.

I've heard that sometimes the VCH may enhance pleasure for some people, but sometimes it can also take away from it too. Or in the case of tattooedtrish, the piercing had no effect what so ever.
It really depends on your body in the end.
and I'm pretty sure you have to remove all jewelry when you go to have kids to begin with, so taking out your VCH will be no different.

The pain is different for everyone. For me the piercing itself was the second worst out of all mine but only lasted a few seconds and the healing was fast with no discomfort. By far my favorite piercing.
And I'm pretty sure no dr will deliver with that piercing in place.

I wouldn't call it a pain so much as a discomfort. It was very startling for me but not really painful... and this lasted less than a second.
I imagine how much stimulation it gives you would depend on your anatomy. Mine does not bother me in my everyday activities. I don't know if it would stay open with jewelry out... I don't want to risk trying. As far as pleasure goes, like I said in another thread, it hasn't really changed anything for me, other than its nice to have for masturbation.

ok, painwise, i obviously dont know first hand, but from the many that i do....most people say its more of a shock, than a pain.
you kinda jump as you are pierced, and then within seconds its pain free.
as for added sensation....it does depend on jewellery placement, type and you. some people gain nothing, some people gain a lot. The 'loss of sensation' is misinformation, so thats nothing to worry about.
as for childbirth, yeah theyre gonna want it out for the delivery, but thats not such a big deal really.

I personally thought it was a very painful piercing, but once the jewelry was in place, the pain stopped, and it never hurt again. As for my clients, it's about half and half. Some say it's very painful, others say it's not painful at all. Either way, they all say the pain only lasts as long as the piercing process. I did have one woman say it hurt afterward, but she said the pain stopped within a few hours.
Angelfetus is correct, loss of sensation is a myth. After wearing jewelry over an extended period of time (like years), it is possible to experience decreased sensation. This isn't caused by the actual piercing, it's the result of constant stimulation from the jewelry. If this were to happen, it's easily remedied by removing the jewelry for a few months to allow sensation to fully return.
Others may disagree, but from what I've seen, VCH piercings rarely close if allowed to fully heal before removing the jewelry. I've had mine done for 6 years, and I only wore jewelry for the first year. I put jewelry in maybe twice a year for a few days at a time, and I never have a problem getting it in. I have a lot of women that come to me wanting to have their hoods repierced, both vertical and horizontal piercings. To this day, I have not had to repierce one person. Their holes had shrunk just enough to make jewelry insertion difficult, but the piercing was still open. You will have to take it out for childbirth, but reinsertion should not be a problem. If you do have difficulty getting the jewelry back in, go see your piercer for help.

I just had mine done a few weeks ago. It wasn't painful in that omg kind of way. It was more like a quick jolt and it was seriously over as soon as he slid the barbell in. It didn't affect my walk at all. It didn't hurt after either. As far as enhancing pleasure, it does for me but not in the constant turned on sense. If I'm turned on, it definitely hits the spot! I've had a few instances of moving just right while walking or leaning over something and my jeans will hit it just right and it's like ooooh, that was nice, lol.
I had my tragus done the same day and that has been a much more tender healing process than the vch has. Its still sore to the touch or if I lay down on my side, answer the phone etc. But my vch has had some slightly more, ahem, rough handling with no pain at all.
