I've been thinking about getting a subdermal implant on my hand, in the shape of an anchor.
Now ofcourse I'm not hell bend on getting it just yet, I'd REALLY like some more information first.
There are no shops that do these kind of procedures near me, so I thought I'd ask it here.

I do have quite veiny hands, does this create a problem?

I read this particular sentence on BMEwiki that got me pretty woried:
it's probably obvious the long-term crippling damage that could be done if an implant is placed on the top of a hand.

does anyone have a implant on his hand, and how does this feel.

What is the minimum thickness for the implant? as I don't want a really thick unit on my hand.

any information would be helpfull.

(I did read the info on bme about this subject allready)

I was thinking of having this done a while ago, and spoke to Graham at Holier than thou, he was really helpful and answered all my questions over the phone, so I don't know if it might be an idea to contact him.

Also, Mac on here does implants so you could try asking him.
