well even though some people only get paid at the end of the month, other people (like myself) get paid weekly. some even get paid fortnightly.
because of it being at the end of the month, we have more time to work and thus had a bit more money.

being paid monthly, if it were to be at the beginning of august you'd still have been paid the same amount as if it were at the end of august.

i'm not doing it for september for a number of reasons. 1, it's my birthday (lol - i want to be at home with my family) and 2, early sept is generally the time when people are busy focussed with going back to uni.

you'll just have to watch those pennies and save!

well i go back to uni in sept, as does jacques and the majority of students...

I'd much prefer August, need to get things ready for uni and all that in September. Moving into new flats and the like.

i've been having a look at hotels.
the raddisson grafton that we stayed in on tottenham court road was really really nice, and a decent price for london!!
130 pounds for a room that sleeps 2 (65 quid each) or 83 pounds for a single.

if you know of any good hotels in london.. let us know.
or if you know of any really cheap places to stay in london (for those who are on a budget), let us know about those, too.
