BodyMod Summer Meet - Saturday 30th August 2008 - London

you will need to pay a deposit of £30 via paypal to bodymod.uk.meet@live.co.uk

by giving your deposit, we have an idea of how many people will be likely to come, thus enabling a better venue with cheaper prices. you will be given the £30 back on the night of the meet.

the weekend will cost (approx) 200-300 pounds. more if you want a more comfortable stay, less if you're on a budget (you don't have to give that to us.. its just the recommended amount to cover travel, hotel, spending money etc. - if you're low on cash - make your own budget. but from experience, this is how much you'd need).

the deposit will be non refundable, but by not donating, you may not be given the opportunity to come (you might be, but it all depends on many factors). and the hotel will be more expensive for you.

if you want to bring a friend, you are allowed to bring one friend only. this is only so you have someone to share a room with/travel with. and you will be responsible for their behaviour. they piss about and irritate everyone - you will both have to leave.

i have already been to check it out. it's lovely!! nice but not too trendy. decent prices for drinks and food and a generally good atmosphere.

i might come but i'm not sure before i get a job - and sort out rent. will let you know a.s.a.p but if there's a slight chance of me making it, you'll see me there.

it's just so we have the money for a certain amount of people.

wherever the meet is held, there will always be people complaining.

1)london has many train stations, and it's easy for people to get there.

2) there is a vast amount of things to do in london

3) a wide variety of venues

4) a LOT of restaurants

5) cheap travel throughout the city

6) a nice place to go for a trip


there are soo many reasons why london is a good idea.
and i'm a northerner myself, so it isn't as easy for me to get to as other places. but it's easier on the whole for everyone.

I understand that.

Just thinking of the people that may have to travel a million miles, say for instance from Scotland.
