i made the mistake of letting an ex pierce me. it was just my ear so i didn't really care. it swelled instantly and was infected. i will never do that ever again |

I'd have no worries letting my girlfriend pierce me. If she had a tiny bit of experience, that would be nice. If she'd never done it before, I'd probably say no, unless we had really talked it over, and felt confident -both of us..
However, I doubt that she'd do it though since my girlfriend and I just broke up  Apart from that. I have a friend who's learning how to pierce professionally, and I let her do her first two piercings on me (with a pro piercer supervising the whole deal. I like getting pierced, and I don't mind being a canvas for practise, as long as it is sterila and safe. Actually I kept one of the piercings, wich tourned out great. The other one I took out, but that's only because it was a Navel piercing, and I don't really like them on men. I was doneperfectly though. But I'm pretty much up for everything, as long as the conditions are right. I mean sterile and safe... Edited by maz_b - May/04/2008 at 9:33pm |

nah i wouldn't.. not unless he's a pro piercer. not a question of trust, it's just skill and safety... i mean i'm not someone's guinea pig. i mean people feel free to do whatever you may please to your skin, but i respect mine enough to make sure the person performing has necessary skill..

Probably almost certainly yes.
I'd want to start with play piercings first, though. I think that I'd stick with a professional for cartilage piercing. They're much harder to heal for me, and I'd want someone whose professional opinion I could trust. |

But if I did, I would let them pierce me with the proper equipment and having them allow me to double check the placement. ;) |
