![]() Topic: Could i stetch/tips about speeding up healingPosted: October/11/2008 at 6:35pm |

My lobe was at a 12 yesturday and i just stretched it up to a 10 last night with absoloutly no pain or discomfort. Today its only the slightest bit pink and it only hurts a little when i move it around. Also this morning there no blood.
Heres my dilemma. The steel taper i have now is heavy on the back and is pulling down and its very noticible and i have this family reunion/dinner thing tomorrow and it doesnt look too nice. For the dinner i need to wear nice clothes and this big silver spike hanging from my ear just wont work. I defenetly dont want to put in a smaller earring, and i dont have any 10ga. earring. I only have a 12 titanium one which i dont want to Put in cuz its smaller, and i have a black 8ga. Taper. That taper would be great but i dont know of my ear is ready to stretch again. Do you think i could stretch again tonight after a shower or maye tomorrow? Also, how could i speed up the healing process? If i cant take it out and i have to wear it tomorrow, id still like some tips to speed up the process. Maybe save a couple days. Thanks, Dan Edited by Noogums - October/11/2008 at 6:41pm |

No. Put your 12ga jewelry back in. If you ears are pink and it hurts when you move them then they probably would benefit from a little while longer at 12ga.

you can get to really big diameters, but don't haste
if you want to damage your ear, continue in this tempo, if you don't, you should be patient. so as BrandonV said, you should rather downsize than haste. |

ok, so it seems you can stretch to 10g. not to 8g - look at xunstoppablex, he stredched to cca. 10 cm (4 inches), so he is probably the one to give advice and he wrote "don't skip sizes" which is what you intend to. if you need something nicer, take the 12g back for a while, then stretch again. |

What is the rush? Put the 12ga in until the wedding is over. Massage your ears with jojoba oil and when the wedding is over the 10ga will slip right in. |

No. Don't put random objects in your piercings. |

Plastic is made out of hardened chemicals. Those chemicals are poisonous for your body. |
