So yeah the time has come and I am more and more getting into the idea of female genital piercings. So for those of you have them can you tell me the pros and cons of them, healing and expierences.

I have a VCH (14ga), a HCH (8ga), 3 inner labia (2ga), outer labia (14ga) and outer labia surface (14ga). All DIY.. I've had most of them for quite a while..
I'd go for the VCH if I were you.. it adds sensation and is really easy to heal and not that painful. I just cleaned mine with warm water in the shower with an occasional salt soak.. (Soap isn't recommended in that area because it'll screw around with the good bacteria and such, and you could end up with problems..) However, as a horseback rider, I wouldn't recommend hood piercings if you ride.. haha.. I've smashed mine against the pommel so many times.. |

i'd have to say its one of my favourite piercings, i think after the first day it didn't hurt at all, and the actual piercing itself was one of the least painful i've had. only word of advice i'd offer is, make sure it sits properly above the clitoris if you want it for any feeling. mines placed so far down its more just for looks than any fun:/ (though i'm guessing thats different for eveyone considering the anatomical differences..) |

There's really no cons to a VCH in my opinion, but horseback riding could pose comfort issues. The pros, it heals quicky, about 2-4 weeks, it's almost always painless once the piercing process is done (some say it's painful during the piercing, others say it's not), it's stimulating to most women when placed properly, and it's a low maintenance piercing. Cleaning is a breeze (just normal everyday hygience is enough, with some soaks for comfort) and infection is extremely unlikely as long as you avoid oral contact during healing. With your riding, it would be a good idea to get it pierced at a larger gauge, at least 10g, maybe 8g. This will help you avoid tearing and discomfort during riding.

Since you already know about me, I'll skip all that and get to the good stuff.
I Love my vch. Healing was quick and easy, and it can definitely enhance sex, whether by intercourse, oral or solo. If you plan on rough play, I'd suggest a minimum 10g to start. You know you can always come to me for more personal questions. Love ya!

mine healed in about 2 weeks and i have had no trouble with it at all. i know it is a really bad thing to say but i only salt soaked it twice i think as urine is basically sterile and it healed fine so yeah...
the only thing i have to say is that i had mine done in april and it was only stimulating for a month or so and now it is just getting in the way. so the novelty wears off but for a while it is AWESOME but now it is just therre because it has a pretty pink gem in it :) |

I am so tempted to get it now, more just the point of saving up the pennies. Also I have never achieved an orgasm through just clitoral stimulation so I wonder if it would heighten it.
Oh my there is so much, labia rings are also tempting me.

Now, I can tell you all the downsides to outer labia piercings
(yes, I have them, and I love them, but there are problems galore!)
Please don't get me started!

i agree that the VCH is a good start to get into genital piercings. it was my first and even after not being very fond of it to begin with, i am on number four now (i retired the previous three at attempts to make it perfect for my anatomy), and i've stretched to an 8g(3.3mm) over the years. i started at 16g(1.3mm) which i wouldn't recommend, but because i am not often sexually active and i knew i would be stretching and i knew how quickly they healed, i decided to start out small and stretch up over time. i'm planning on going to 6g(4.1mm), but jewellery length and bead size matters a lot for my tiny anatomy. for me it doesn't do much, if anything sexually, but i know it does for a lot of women. i just missed having a barbell there. i've also got 6g(4.1mm) inner labia piercings (each pierced once) and a single 10g(2.6mm) right outer labia piercing which will be paired soon enough (as soon as i get around to it of course), and i plan on having a total of three in each outer labia, which i plan to take to 8g(3.3mm) tops. mine are all self pierced of course. in my past i have also had a christina piercing, but it did not work out for me and i will soon be putting in a single microdermal to mimic a christina piercing.
genital piercings tend to heal pretty quickly because there is a lot of blood flow in that area. you might want to avoid tighter clothes if you notice they bother you during healing and you'll want to be gentle with the area all around until it is no longer an issue with you. my inner labias stung with urination for about five days and literally stopped and never bothered me again on day six. they bled overnight though. the outer labia piercing bled for about two days but wasn't tender and didn't sting like the inner labia piercings. my VCH piercings only caused discomfort if they were either pierced crooked or i wore a jewellery type that wasn't right for my anatomy. only the first one bled a teeny bit with the pierce, but no tenderness or stinging occurred with any of them. my VCH prefers straight barbells. |

if we are talking jewelery i have a 8ga banana bar despite the fact i am of a smaller nature (so much so there was the risk of me having to have a HCH instead) because my piercer was very aware of the risks of tearing from personal experiance xD
but everyone is shaped very differently downstairs. |
