there are play piercing needles out there, you can check out www.painfulpleasures.com for different needles and supplies. i prefer 27g needles for play because they are easy to work with in multiples. it won't be very visible just with the needle. smaller gauge needles will leave smaller marks. with 27g needles it is rare i have any marks left over the next day. some bruising may occur but not much. not much care is needed really. just clean the area, use the right needles (and tools if you wish) and wear gloves. play piercing isn't a very serious thing and there isn't much to it.

infection isn't really an issue with play piercing as long as everything is clean and sterile when the piercing is done.As far as aftercare, it's going to heal fairly quickly since there's been no jewelry inserted. You would just treat it as you would any other minor wound, just keep it clean.
One thing to consider when thinking of gauge, bigger gauge= worse possible scarring. Most play piercing is done at small gauges, 18 and under for this reason.
Damn these human beings; if I had invented them I would go hide my head in a bag.

I frequently use 21 gauge needles for shows and such. I prefer the smaller ones because they don't leave any visible marks (other than some slight bruising sometimes) and they heal up within a few days.  Kweidog is right, there aren't any big issues with using larger needles, but they will scar more. If she's unsure about piercings, I would suggest starting small.

Not sure if it's the same where you are, but I get my needles from medical supply stores or the drug store. Ask for syringe tips, they come in various lengths and sizes

They don't hand out needles in the drugstores here in the US.  You guys have access to so much more cool shit.

Very true, I don't even think I've ever been asked what they were for when buying them. I do get funny looks if I just need the tips and not the whole syringe though, or when I'm buying multiple boxes. It's almost a little scary the type of things anyone can buy here, but quite handy.

thanks for all the input havent tried it yet but i did get directed to a good site for needles carrie 2005 is right syringe needles are not sold freely  in US the only place is animial feed stores the gauge range from 22 to 14 they are single use and sterile but i think i will probably order from a place where they are made for people. the other option is to get professionaly piearced but either take the jewelry out or not have it put in i was just concrerned with the healing time what do you think of that option
