For right now, I'm posing this as a question to all of you. What do you view as a Participating Member to the community? The "you must have 1 mod posted" to view certain areas of the site was a good start in keeping the community clean and pure of the site's original intent. But I'm seeing a lot of people uploading a photo (most of which are not of them) just so they can view boobies and penises...lame.

So, I was thinking about changing up the lingo / requirements from 1 mod post to , "You must be a Participating Member". I don't want to make it something difficult, just the bare minimum that would constitute the person as someone that's truly involved in the community, and just enough work to a lame-o wouldn't want to / or be able to do it.

Ideas I'm tossing around in my mind are something like this:

1 mod posting
5 mod comments
5 forum posts
profile photo
about me filled in

To me, that's a lot of work for someone just to view some breasts, but nothing for someone that's active around here. But... if it isn't enough, there we're gunna have bogus mod comments, forum posts, and mod photos. Which I really don't want.

So what are your thoughts?

ps. I've made a few fixes around the site, and I also changed up the "view full size mod" lightbox animation thingie. It's cooler, cleaner, more functional, and clears up the "flash is always on top" problem. I also have been listening to the various forum posts and email about little things to clean up around here... just really busy right now on the personal part of life. Sorry guys, but I will get too it eventually =)

1 mod posting, 5 mod comments, 10  forum posts [and if there's a way to get around the possible cheating i.e. posting all 10 of them in the forum games?],  profile pic, about me, and maybe even a minimum of a couple of buddies?

i know, it'd make life impossible for pervs. for active members, not that much really!

I agree with metalbabe with the not letting them "cheat" by posting in forum games.

maybe adding in profile comments too?

i liked how in the old profiles it had a list of whose journals you commented and what forums you posted in.
maybe something similar in terms of what mod you commented on?

that way, it might be easier to spot the ones who are pervs when you go on their page and see mod comments on nipple or genital mods.

i did always like that feature.. and it would be quite nice to use it to see what my buddies have commented on, in case maybe it's something i might like, too.
