so my thing is simple. how many of us have met our gf/bf/life partner throught this sight? just curious.
i know i met my best friend through here. thats pretty much it. ha

i met my boy through BME, but i met some awesome people through this site in july at the official BodyMod.org meet in Montana. there's been a few people who have met their significant other here and i don't doubt it could end up happily. i also don't doubt it could also be a complete mess haha.

I've met two people through this site; metalbabe, and openyoureyes (who hasn't been on here since 2005 but we are still in contact).
I doubt very much I would meet my life partner through this site. But shit happens. |

i met my friend shell (sweetiehoneybab) on here. i'd moved to a new place last summer and didn't know anyone and found out that she lived close by. i was very grateful of that.
but i do think this site works well in the sense of meeting a partner because you have quite an important thing in common. i've had ex's with a slight interest in this (one had tattoos - but they were awful, and he only seemed to get them so he had a 'metal' image (what a twat) and another had vague knowledge of it, but didn't actually get a piercing until he met me), but nothing more. meeting matt on here meant that we already shared this interest to start with, and i like being able to talk to him about it and things i'm considering. we can both say if we think the other would suit something, and understand the urge to get something new. it was nice meeting him through here. i didn't intentionally go out looking for someone, and we both just happened to be going through the same situation. we'd talked a bit through comments and in the forum, but one day we just clicked. that was nearly 4 months ago and it's strange to think that from that one conversation, i have never looked back. and for that, i will never forget this site. I've met some cool people from here ( like everyone at Skindependence) and that was a really awesome time. i didn't meet my boyfriend on the site. but I'm good with friends. freinds are awesome!
