Hey,

I'm sure this has been asked a couple of times before, but I couldn't find any good answers to it, so that's why I mad this topic.

How do you thinken your lobes when stretching? I'm at 18mm (right) and 16mm (left). My right lobe is think and healthy and I can easily go to 20mm with it, which is where I'm going to be for a fair while. The left one is also fairly thick, but every time I stretch it, it seems to get a bit thinner.

What is the best way to thicken lobes? I've heard that stretching up and then downsizing is a good way, but how much do you need to downsize for this to work, if you're at 16mm.

Basically the only way is to downsize, but I've never had to do this so I can't tell you how much you need to downsize.
I would just say like one size. People say that you should sleep with your plugs out also.

Yes, sleep with your plugs out every night.  Downsize a couple of sizes, then restretch back up.  Do this as often as you need to until you reach desired thickness.  Also do daily oil massages if you are not already.

When I sleep with my plugs out they go so tight again I have a hard time getting them back in though. I have had to restretch once or twice too, which means I have to wait for them to heal again, which never is fun... Is downsizing enough or do you have to sleep plugless if you want to thicken?

soaking them in warm water in the morning [whilst you shower, perhaps. or not?] helps loosen them up.

You want to sleep without your plugs in for more reasons than to thicken them up.  At your current sizes, you can experience restricted blood flow while your plugs are in.  Giving your ears a rest every single night helps prevent problems like necrosis.  A lot of people will put the next size down in when they first wake up, and then after a half hour or so, the lobes will loosen up enough to put in the current size.

Thanks very much for all help. I've been stretching a bit too fast, so thickening up and sleeping without them sounds like something I should get started with!
