I've done some basic research and I'd love to hear from guys who's had both. Which did you like and why? I'm on the fence which I want to do and maybe I'll do the other at a later point, so either or? Thanks!

I would start with a pa. Frenum placement could possibly interfere with getting a pa later.

From an aesthetics point of view I have had both and preferred the pa to the frenum. The frenum seemed to catch more and get irritated. Especially with certain partners whose anatomy didn't really accomodate an extra piercing.

thanks, B. My only concern is the size of the hole. I want to pierce w/ a larger ga, like a 12-10, but i'm told if you want to remove it later, that size may not close. Thoughts?

It should be pierced at least at a 12ga. I usually pierce at a 10 and taper to an 8. Everybody is different. I had my pa stretched to a 6ga and it closed all of the way. I had my frenum at an 8ga and it is also closed all of the way. I do have scars marking all of the holes.

oh that's pretty interesting. my wife is just not sure she's gonna like it, hate or be indifferent. (she had a guy once who had one and she said it was no great shakes). as for me, i'm not sure i'm gonna be into sitting to pee or it interfering w/ my biking. the scars, i don't care about at all.

A frenum would not interfere with being able to sit down and pee. I personally did not care for my frenum though.

Frenums are a wussy "genital" piercing. It's just a skin piercing, nothing more. Be a man, get at least a pa!

I have both these piercings. And I like pa better. It's some pain to get it, but you have to stand it - if your wife has her nipple pierced, you can't turn back without being less of man than her ;)
