You could also try wearing heavy jewellery (not weights, but glass or solid steel jewellery) for a month or so. It's not heavy enough to damage your lobes but will loosen the skin up a little.
And/or double flares. And definitely go up to 7mm first, it's quite a big jump from 6mm to 8mm! |

At your current size, 3 weeks is not a long enough wait. ! month is fine for the smaller stretches, but now you should be waiting about 2 months between each stretch. Are you doing daily oil rubs? If you are not, that could help a lot.

Yeah, that probably is really early to start stretching, dont be like me and put your lobes through hell. They'll start hating you, like mine do. Lol.
I've heard about the taping method, but I've never had it really explained to me, I want to try it. When I stretch my ears I know I'm more then likely doing it the wrong way, lol. I lube up the tapers with emu oil and slide those buggers in. So if anyone is willing to explain the taping method to me, send me a pm, it would be appreciated! |

i think im just going to wait afew weeks.. i have a formal in 8 weeks and i wanted to be able to get some nice 12mm in by then but the only way im going to be able to do that is if i get them scapelled but i dont have hte cash atm >.<
Carrie_p2005 what type of 'oil rubs' would you reccomend? |

Emu oil or jojoba oil are probably the best oil for your piercings (in my opinion, of course). Just do massages twice a day and you'll see a difference haha.
You can use emu oil during the stretching process, too. Anyway, you can find them on bodyartforms.com or other bodyjewelry sites. |
