Lol...play nice, kids ;)

I don't think the comments were generally aimed at the skill of the artist, but more the fact that the photo was then added to a portfolio. A portfolio for any type of artist is supposed to be a display of their best work and show just what they are capable of. This example clearly doesn't fit the bill.

Hey I just noticed something.  Look at the freckle on the girl's upper left lip.  Same person, different jewelry.  Both posted in his portfolio.

... Honestly, I have more of a problem with that god-awful looking nostril piercing appearing in the picture at all.

I know most times bumps like that are from the piercee irritating it while it's healing... but... crop that shit out.  It looks bad in your portfolio.
Hey baby, bundle up tight... tis the season to catch a cold and die.

IMO it looks like the same girl but they are different piercings.  The CBR looks a bit higher.  Either way the ring is HUGE and the ball on that post is rather large as well.  Externally threaded for the win?

double stuck, ftl.  looks like he did the labret stud first, took it out, then repierced it with a CBR.  the marks are still there in the second shot, and it looks like there is still a bit of gore from the original piercing just below it.

and yeah, learn to crop.  do something to distinguish your work from the hack down the road.  unless he's the hack that did that one too, and he's proud of it...

If you look closely , I think it is a barbell , it sticks out a long way ! If pushed in = bite down= chipped teeth!! I think he used the wrong jewelry & switched it out !! ??

i've seen labret studs up to 1 1/4"  so it's possible he used the right jewelry and just the wrong size, though with the swelling after that i bet it was barely long enough...
