If you followed instructions, your artist might be willing to give you a free touch up. Touch ups are way easier than the original.
I know I am not the only person on this forum who has stated than on our skin if we dont use an oil or petroleum based product we end up peeling and losing color.....but that isnt the standard advice you will get in the shop. Artists dont even always agree with each other, and sometimes your artists advice might not be what happens to work best with your skin type. |

Using only lotion does not work for me at all I tired it once and I got the worse scabs and now my tat looks like shit but whatever it was my first and now I just want to get it covered anyway. Aquaphore all the way for me. |

To be fair, I think that many people do well with just lotion, and the chance of something really weird happening like blisters, rashes, infection, or breaking out is reduced when you avoid oil and petroleum.....So, there is a reason they say water based lotion only.
I just dont think its necessarily appropriate for everybody's skin type. Some of us have skin that gets way too dry and crusts up without something stronger than lubiderm. |

So turns out I'm a dumbass.
I took a nice spill on the concrete, and to put things bluntly, I think I messed my shit up, lol. Now I'm freaking out that I did really mess it up, I mean, the scabbing ripped off and I'm bleeding all over my tattoo, NICE! Damn that sucks, lol. |

It probably means some slight color loss and a touch up....I doubt it will ruin your tattoo forever though. Just add a little bit of color, go through a little bit of extra pain, and it should look as good as ever.....I think.

i hate to hear about your misfortune but keep thinking positive just keep is washed and clean and not let it get dried out. I'm sure it will be just fine a lot of colored tattoo need touching up after healing. so when it's healed go to your artist and tell him/her straight up what happened I'm sure he/she will be happy to touch it up. who knows they might not even charge you for it. most of them are very understanding mine are at least
