i can say from experience that there is somehing odd going on with all these penile mods. working in a shop i can honestly say dick piercings are maybe 1% of all mods i do, and that's pushing it. yet if you look at this site, the ratio seems MUCH higher than say...navel piercings. or maybe people are just less shy about showing off a pa than their ("omg i'm so fat!") midsection. anyways, good call Adam. i definitely think people should be more involved if they're seeking information or ideas by looking at the galleries. |

beakerpins, you've likely seen more penis/male genital photos posted lately because the rules have been changed so users can post as many photos as they like of the same modification. previously we moderators would remove all duplicate photos of the same modifications because they weren't allowed, but when the forum status (modlet, Heavy Modder, mod god, mod-zentity, etcetera) was changed and included forum posts, it didn't matter how many photos you posted so the rules changed. personally i like the idea of the main photo with additional photos posted, it looks tidier and that's what it is there for, but basing on angry responses to me removing multiple posts i can tell that people really just didn't want to use the additional photo option, and this sites motto is "by you for you" of course.

i think this move was a much required evil. it will affect unmodded people who were only considering genital modifications, true, but then again i'm not sure how many of such modders-to-be exist who are like that, in comparison to the sheer amounts of voyeurs who think bmod is a place for free porn.

12 years ago, i thought about getting a vch, but back then i could not find very much info. on them and basically no pictures of one. Life happened things got in the way, i forgot about it. Recently i have been trying to find the right piercer placement is everything! Finally found the right place and piercer and i am going soon for my app. If it had not been for this site, i dont think i would have ever gotten it done. Loads of info. here on VCH piercing and great pictures. It is a shame that Adam had to change things here, i understand why.Sick people acting stupid, but i just want to say for people like me that needed help making this choice, this place was awesome! I will be posting my pictures after i get it done, And thanks BodyMod for all the help you have given to me!! |
