i think you're referring to the genital galleries? you do not need to give a donation to access them, just post 1 single mod of your own. a good, clear photo that is. p.s. with the recent influx of the horrible picture qualities to make up for needing a minimum of 1 mod to access the genital mod galleries, as well the frequency of copyright infringement to obtain the 1 mod necessary on the profile, it might be an idea to make it necessary to have a minimum of 10 forum posts AS WELL AS 1 mod photo uploaded? freetobeme came up with this idea [only he said, 25 forum posts] - i think 25 might be a bit too much. but really, how hard is it to have 10 forum posts? even by just participating in the forum games such a small number can be achieved. Like everyone else here, I believe thi site is about community and would rather the strange lurkers went else where. The new requirements are a great idea :) It's just unfortunate that the new regulations have resulted in a small number of lurkers posting up fake mods stolen from places like wikipedia.
I rather like freetobeme's idea of including a certain number of forum posts before gaining access to certain parts of the site, as it's so easy to do if you genuinely want to become a member of the community but a lurker is unlikely to post anything useful at all.

In addition to the posting requirement, how about a requirement on having a minimum number of buddies, 5 perhaps. No one is going to approve a buddy request from someone with no mods, no detail and no forum posts. Only by achieving acceptance by at least 5 of this site's members, can a new member gain access to the cooler parts of the site. Kinda like having members policing ourselves.
