i really want to do a corset piercing. i have a pretty high pain tolerance, but i'm still a little iffy on so many piercings all at once. i want something that i can handle, but i also want something large enough so it can make a dramatic enough hourglass shape.

i want to have a really long ribbon put through and have professional pictures taken. would that have to be done immediately, can i leave the shop and go to a photo studio?

i guess i don't know enough about the little details of getting a corset done. i just know that i really want to do one. can anyone give me some info/suggestions/pointers? any help is really appreciated!

if you are going to go somewhere to have pro pictures taken, have someone drive you so you can sit in the car so that your back doesnt rub against anything.  As far as pain, take some glucose tablets with you if the piercer doesnt have them.

A typical corset it good for 24-48 hours.  You'll be fine to have it done and then go to a professional studio, but like voxplayer said, have a driver.  I would wear a loose-fitting top, preferably something that ties in back or buttons up the front, that way you don't have to bother will pulling a shirt up over your head.

I would inform the piercer that you plan to have professional photos done immediately after.  A lot of piercers will use either gentian violet and toothpicks or skinscribe markers.  Those work really well for marking, but will leave purple marks for a day or two.  If your piercer is not careful, you could end up with purple dots surrounding the piercings.

Make sure you eat a well-balanced meal about an hour before your appointment, something with plenty of complex carbs.  This will help keep your blood sugar regulated.  Try to get a good night's sleep the night before.  Drink plenty of plain water starting 48 hours before your appointment.  Don't overdo it, or you will have to get up and pee constantly, but do be sure to get in the recommended 6-8 glasses per day.  If you are hydrated, rested, and not hungry, you will have a much better chance of getting through all of the piercings just fine.

Make sure you only have supportive friends with you when you go.  Don't take the friends that will tell you before how much it's going to hurt and how gross it is.
