I know that you can tattoo your fingers and hands, but when I was having my leg filled in at the tattoo shop the other day, my tattoo artist was saying that he doesn't/wouldn't do something on the underside of someone's hand.

I think this might just be his preference though because I have seen a tattoo on someone's palm on this website, it was on the front page for like two weeks a while ago.

So is a tattoo on your fingertips going to last very long? I want a small circle on each of my fingertips, but I couldn't decide whether I wanted them in black ink, UV ink or if I wanted them cut into my skin.

I decided against cutting because its THE most annoying spot to have even a paper cut, I don't know how long I could deal with having seeping wounds on each fingertip.

I think it is very hard to get ink to stay in on the insides of hands/finger tips and alot of artists won't want to do work that could wind up looking crappy unless the person getting it knew that it could wind up looking bad in a short amount of time.

Im sure it fades!!! if u do in the inside part of your hand/fingers...

Depends of what kind of manual labour you plan on doing, I guess.
If you can arrange for years of just doing nothing you'll be fine
