i know this was a completely stupid move on my behalf. but when i originally started stretching i went from an 14 to a 2 in one night.
my ears are fine and I didn't end up with a rip or a blow out. |

Yes, there are two paths you can go by, but in the long run there's still time to change the road you're on.

when i was 15iish i pierced a second hole on my lobe and imediately stretched to 2ga. it was fince but i ended up takin it out shortly after. i have a small slit like scar on it.
I have heard of people being able to rap[id stretch before. I dont reccomend it but it can be done depending on the person. One example ive seen first hand is the septum. it takes so long fo rthe septum to heal that is possible to stretch on a daily basis. My friend pierced his at 6ga and had it at 00ga in a week. he was in massive amounts of pain but it healed up fine. again, i dont reccomend any of this but its just what ive seen.
As far as the kid who went to a piercer, that guy doesnt sound like he knows what hes doing. Scalpel and taper is the way to go. imo i only think large jumps like that should be done from small sizes. when you get bigger its more safe to only cut about 1/8" at a time, any more and you risk splitting your lobe. smaller sizes can be wedge cut.

I went from 1/2" to 3/4s in one night; no visible scar tissue, no blowout. It was intense.

While I was out doing errands last week I ran into a kid at the pet food store (well, he was about 18) who had large stretched ears. I have 1 1/4 inch ears and talked to him about them. He said that his are 1 3/4 inches and he claims to have only pierced them 6 months ago. I was amazed. The most amazing thing is that they appeared very healthy. He said that they stretched very easily and just put in the next size every 2 weeks. Meanwhile it's taken me about 6-7 years to get to 1 1/4 inches!

Quick stretching is pretty stupid. I've done it and it was insanely stupid of me as it would be for anyone else. You can get lucky and it can work out but unless you're on your death bed, I don't see what the rush is.

My friend pierced his lobe with 6ga needle and instantly stretched to 12mm. Lobe had massive swelling, but it turned ok.

mrDahmer can stretch pretty quickly. he can go up a size every week or two. but his skin is stupidly stupidly stretchy. i can pull up skin on his arm way more than i can with my own.
it varies from person to person. i know it'll take me years and years to stretch to a decent size on my ears. my skin isn't stretchy in the slightest. |

My ears have taken a long time to get to 1 1/8" (about 8 years). But I have had some friends that had gone from 14G to 1" in less than a year but they could go any bigger because of the scar tissue they created from being careless.
