so really want to get my eyebrow pierced or get snake bites because it's been too long since my last piercing... I'm not sure on which yet. but where would be a good shop for this? I'm thinking Painless steel. if you have any suggestions otherwise I'd greatly appreciate it! (also if you knew about the price ranges for either piercings at said shop that you mention or P.S. that would be helpful too!)

i don't recommend painless. they have a great jewelry selection but i personally know a lot of people that have had problems with painless. this women, danielle, that i work with got her labret pierced there. the stud used was too long and it was causing irritation. when she went back they refused to switch it out so she went to altered skin.
i recommend altered skin
like i said, problems with painless but great jewelry selection
i met the piercer at american made and he was a dick
every mothers nightmare is owned by a guy that used to work at blue coyote and they have a VERY bad reputation. they modded minors and they were not sterile. the owner of every mothers nightmare may be different, but i don't know.
there is one more shop. i can't remember the name but i can get it if you'd like. but i don't think they do piercings, just tattoos

altered skin FTW. i've heard kickass things about paul from lots of people. he has over ten years of experience too. best experience in town, maybe even the state. i've only been pierced at painless though. i've never had a problem with my piercings from them. great sterile technique, healed perfectly straight, not too shallow, never migrated, etc. but my only complaint is their recommended aftercare regimen. when i got my belly button pierced, the dude (with hugely blown out ears, by the way) told me that sea salt solution was TOO CAUSTIC and to use dial soap THREE TIMES A DAY. wtf. but that was a few years ago, and he doesn't work there anymore. they recommend sea salt now...and 6% Benzalkonium chloride solution, which is 60 times more concentrated than ear piercing solution from claire's (0.1%). bleeuughh.
but yeah, i'd give paul a try. although painless wouldn't be a bad choice either. edit: also, altered skin is within walking distance of campus. painless is way down 5th. i reeeallly love how painless' shop looks though. flippin sweet. altered looks kinda shady compared to it. :p oh, and i like how painless is run by mostly females. it puts me at ease somehow. but i'm weird.
