My tattoo was just recently finished, and it sure took me long enough. One thing though is that I originally wanted the blue to be more of an indigo color and for their to be more dark purple. The blue looks a little more like 'true blue', at least towards the center.

How easy would it be to turn this blue into an indigo color? What do you think of the colors now? What about just adding some purple to a few areas, or adding some red to make it more purplish?

I think I posted this in the wrong section. Can moderators move threads? This should be under general questions......If so, you can delete this part too.

Oh purple would really add to it! You've got so many other lovely and rich colors in there that purple would look great :)

I wonder what color I should mix it with. Apparently its hard to ever go lighter, but you can add darker shades of the other primary colors.

I wonder if I should add more red or more violet to the blue to make it a more indigo color?

i thank you could darken the blue to indigo if you have so more lighter shades of colors you might change those to purple. you might also add some purple shading around the outer edges of the tattoo also. i would talk to the artist first there might be a reason why he /she shaded it the way they did. i thank you have a very nice tattoo so you want to be careful not to mess it up by adding more color some times more is to much. what every you do good luck.
