okay well we can steal the elastics that my sister uses for her braces, and i think we have some zip ties in the garage!

I don't think it would work even if you started from birth, putting elastics on your ears would just bend them and the elastic would cut in over time, not change the shape of the ear =/
Maybe if you made some kind of mould for the ear to grow into that was worn all the time from the time the child started growing the ear would grow into that shape ?

Your ear wouldn't grow into the shape of a mold and even if it could, you'd have to wear it for a long time. It'd look ridiculous to wear something like that around all day long.

i realy realy want to get elf ears but im scared i wont like them once iv had them done =/
its one of those things il think about for a few years before id ever get it done.
where could you actualy get them cut and stitched anywany?

I've always been curious about ear pointing. Does it have to be performed by a surgeon, or can it be done by a regular hardcore modification artist?
Oh, and by the way, the band thing wont work, just get it cut and stitched.
