So, I really want to add onto my current tattoo. First, picture I found on photobucket, sorry it's not at the best angle. But, what I really want to do is add two skulls below it with the backs of the skulls merging together. Maybe with their tongues sticking out the sides of their mouths or something. Then above it on each side I want to place nautical stars. Kind of cliche/overused/whatever but I like the idea and they're not the focal point so what does it matter. But on the top center above the current tattoo I need something. I'm quite at a loss of ideas. Anyone want to help me out?

What about a banner or like a scroll type thing to put around the words?

I've been toying around with that idea. But, I'm afraid to cramp it up and I'd like to develop it into a fullish chest piece. But, I'm honestly, still toying around with ideas.  |

Well, if you did do the banner/scroll thing, it would make it so the words would still stick out if you added more designs to the area.
Or at least, I think it would. (:

I just don't think I have much room to work with. I'm basically going to go to my artist and be like here's a bunch of ideas. roll with it. lol

how about having rays of light coming out from behind the skulls to behind the words and shooting in all directions, but being longest and more pronounced at the top and the bottom of it?

Might be too late for this input... but I like the original skill idea. It seems unique to me.. but I would leave out the stars. Reason? They would be straight edged (unless you do them differently) and the skulls are an organic shape. I would purposely mix the two- however, you might be able to find a good way to do it. The rays would be a nice touch, and wouldn't look so out of place as the stars. Plus, you get more coverage that way.
