It'll probably be easier to mark up placement at the same time also. Depending on where you're going, you may get a slight discount for doing multiple piercings at once.

Thanks for the advice everyone! Sounds a bit painful and thrilling, so I must do this ;)

The first time I had venoms done, the first one swelled immediately and we couldn't do the second one. Ball to ball on the barbell.
The second time I had them done, the swelling didn't start for another day or so and I got them done both at once. I could eat that night and I've had them for 3 years. Play it by ear. If your body is telling you no, don't get them both done at once. They are more painful than a normal tongue piercing and harder to get used to. |

I have my venoms done, and I got them both in one sitting. The pain wasn't bad at all, but the swelling was. Couldn't eat right for a week and a half about, but I think it was worth it, hah. :)

I'd say get them done all at once.
Once the shock of the first one the second one will almost be done.
But only if its possible to do so. good luck |

I have never had mine done. I have pierced quite a few it just seems easy to knock it out all @ once. That way you don't do one. Let it heal since that would mean you have to go through the whole process again. Good Luck

So I figured I would piggyback off of this thread ...
My piercer told me (John Joyce of Scarab Body Arts, for what it's worth) that a lot of people he knows wind up retiring one or both venom piercings for one reason or another, over time. Is this the case for anyone? If so, why did you remove one or both of them? |

i think you have to have them done at the same time
i wasnt too worried about the swelling, but i took arnica [you can get it from most health food stores] it reduces swelling, take it one day before and then after you have it done they arent to painful, just make sure you do get then changed down beucase they are more damageing on your teeth if you keep the long ones in [not to mention annoying] |
