I've been daydreaming about what to do with my tongue, and I'm strongly thinking about getting venoms, rather than just 1 standard tongue piercing.

I'm reading stuff from people on here that the swelling is a major problem with a fresh tongue pierce...so my question is would it be smart to get them both done on the same trip, or get one done, let it heal and then the other?

Any advice apprieciated!

Yeah I've become pretty much desensitized about the pain with piercings, so it's not so much an issue for me anymore.

i would say get both done at the same time that way you just deal with the swelling once rather then each at a different time. Idk its all up to you. i got both done at the same time.

Do them both. I thought I was desensitized. They are quite a bit more painful than a standard middle one. Definitely on of the most painful I've ever had. Swelling was mostly gone in a week, i was putting solid food down 4 days later. I did a lot of research on BME and other places before i got mine. They can be very problematic due to blood vessel placement in your tongue. Make sure you go to an experienced piercer. I got lucky, in my case it was Carrie_P2005. I knew she was good, and i trusted her. I did quite a bit of bleeding though, my tongue was apparantly very tough to stick a needle through. I've had that reaction from every piercer i've been to (the needle not going through-ness, not the bleeding), as well as my tattoo artist. My best advice is pretty standard for tongue work. Eat a few solid meals before you go in to get them done, and use NON alchoholic mouthwash after you eat/drink/pretty much anything but breath and talk. PM me if ya wanna talk more.
