Sylvias, not many of us are meaning to be rude, but if you see yourself as being better than other human beings, than you can expect to get the same treatment from other people who see themselves as being better than you because just as you do not approve of drugs, others may not approve of your actions. When you ask for advice, you should take all of it in full, not just what you want to hear.
You need to take a blood-born pathogens class asap. Also, you need to keep in mind that by cutting druggies you are risking a lot more than if you were cutting just regular emo kids. Druggies immune systems are much weaker and they do not clot nearly as well. Also, they are unlikely to take any care of their cuts. If you were going to do that to anyone, the last people you should do it to are druggies.
You said you did simple things on these people, like a cross. Well, my dear, I am pretty sure even a druggie can cut two lines on themselves. It is better that they do it to themselves than for you to get entangled in horrible things by doing it for them.
Also, you are in no place to judge those people's lifestyles. At least these druggies are only doing things to ruin their own life's, you are playing with the potential to ruin other people's lifes.
I am not saying you cannot be a scarification artist, you may make a great one. All I am saying is you need to stop being elitist because you business will depend on your customers and what your reputation amongst the modded/potentially modded communty is. If this is your passion in life than treat it with the respect it deserves by doing it right, and no other way. If I were in your shoes I would take all the advice from this thread and everybody in it to heart.
Best of luck.

You know slyvias I knew bad things where going to come from you.
You got mad at the people on the reptile thread you created jumping on them like an attack dog.

You need a major attitude check and some anger management and for someone to come and take all sharp things away from you. Personally, I think you have serious mental issues and I rather hang around with a druggie than you.

I'd trust them more. I would probably look at you the wrong way and you try to slit my throat.

again, stunning work Rouslan. Rouslan is a true professional who takes his apprenticeship very seriously and creates very good work. I would let him tattoo me if I wasnt afraid he hated me so much he would tattoo "Slut" instead ;)

If I got a dollar for every time I repented the sin then committed the same crime, I'd be standing on top of the world today...

thank you to the assholes who refuse to contribute anything useful to this thread, for the record i am only a bitch to people who are to me first.

and Rouslan that is picture you took from my page is a few years old and was exactly what the person was looking for, they didn't want something realistic and detailed, they wanted it simple and stylistic. Artwork is not simply realism there are millions of styles and techniques.
also love how you picked the oldest and probably worst piece on my site.

now AGAIN, any actual help to this thread is GREATLY appreciated, the rest of you. just stop posting.

Ah ha-ha, chess. The ancient contest of wits. Two opponents: mano a mano. Braino a braino. And look: magnets for ease of travel. You could play chess on the moon.

+1 to Hobo.

And, just to reiterate what I've already said, calling people "assholes" and demanding that they stop posting on "your" thread (unless of course they are going to tell you exactly what you want to hear) is probably not the best way to get ANY useful information.

Just search the forums for "why some guys won't get a pa?"  You'll see exactly how treating people like shit gets you chewed up and spit out.
I mean, you just don't know. Maybe I have a monster vagina, with teeth, and tentacles. Did you ever consider that?!

Don't be to mean with Sylvias now Terri-Sian. The thread is almost a month old now, and I think that in other threads we already managed to explain some things to Sylvias who also started to understand them. She's young, needs of course advice, but if we just flame her down everyday I'm not sure we'll help her a lot :o) I mean, the first part of your message was right, the second once... I think she has dropped that attitude already :o)

First, get scalpels. They're sterile, cheaper than (good) razorblades, and they cut nicer. Trust me. I cut myself from 13-23 and there's a huge difference in "tools".
Don't charge for it. You're experimenting. I've been a first for some piercers and such, and they haven't charged. (I did tip though)
Drop the attitude. It's not going to get you anywhere fast.
Skin is different on different parts of the body. It's not all going to cut the same.
Get your BPP. First aid. What happens if you nail something (like a vein, or blood vessel), cut too deep, etc... You definitely do NOT want to go to the ER, trust me on that one.
Try it on YOU first.

Cool talk everybody, but let's get to the right point, please :D.
What kinda scalpels is one supposed to use? I mean exactly. I recently bought a scalpel in a pharmacy, but unfortunately the standard medical scalpels rip-open the skin cause the blade is V shaped. Of course it depends on how deep you cut, but still a razor blade sticked even deeper wouldn't create this kind of wound. I was looking for some scalpels on ebay, but there's nothing particular to look for, when you just can't look at the blad and see for yourself.
Plz, serious advice.
