Okay, I have been speaking to Glimmi for quite some time now. He had
the idea of a Bodymod Calendar. I loved the idea and asked to help in
the Creating of it. I have friends at Photobox, They will help with
them being printed.
We all have come to love this site, and alot of us have become close friends, and Some have even found their soul mates. We are a family and the thought of waking up to them on a Calendar just makes me excited. So This is The Thought. For the first Calendar we are hoping for a Mixed sex one. We dont want the first one to be about buying one to see the opposite sex, Its about an appreciation of the modded souls within the community, Our thoughts, Our feelings. We want Pictures of our community Having fun for we are the same as everyone else, only we are more likely to conduct electricity :D, We want members Anecdotes, quotes and saying we have grown fond of. "How much did that hurt" *Punches in face*, "That Much" So, What we are looking for are People to volunteer. We cant have pictures of everyone, But we are looking for words, wether they be of wisdom or humour. Were being very serious when we say this cant turn into 100 pages of Pointless Banter and Chit-chat. An account will be created for All your questions to be directed to, for your pictures and anything else on the subject. So if you are interested give us some feedback here If you want to Be apart of it feel free to send the given profile A message containing your picture, A few lines about yourself, Aquote you love, an anecdote, anything you find relevant. Okay here is the update People.. I have been working Damn hard for this calendar in the last few weeks, Phoning around and Checking places out. and this is the Facts.
* Our Goal Is to Create a calendar That we can all enjoy because i wake up to Cats and harry potter calendars when really i want to wake up to people That love body modification as much as i do. * The Team Myself (Laura0face) and Glimmi have been speaking and are getting on well. We thank Uranium hobo for joining the team and helping with photo editing. He is a god and will be editing all pictures which need. We are glad we work so well together. Threesome rock ;) * The Community The community are what drives us. We are fmaily and Thats why This isnt Just about us running it alone. We need everyones help. Moderators and Non Moderators. We are all a family and the end result will be a Surprise for ALL of you. * The Given Site A site has been chose for it, And We love it, Allows us to edit whatever we need to. It is also one of the only sites allowing more than one picture to be added to each month. We want 2 on some : Like for instance the Bodymod couples : More than 1 couple might have a picture up on A month as Bodymod brings people together and we want to show love can be found among people with mods. So We are happy with this site, The prices are great and thats that :D * Adam and His Back Cover I have spoken to Adam and he Gave us the go ahead. Infact he will be featured With a picture of his choice, and Can write as much as he wants for the back page, Its his page and is dedicated to the creator, He said he will work on it. We await with Much Excitement. Some people might think that He deserves more than a back cover, But think of books, The writer has his own section at the back, the back defines whatthe book is, and our back defines what bodymod is :D * The Front Cover A front cover has been chosen, And Our Designer was out very own UraniumHobo, Without him we wouldn't even have that. Thank you. And From the feadback on it, You all love it so far. The only change will be that the " 2009 - 2010" writing wont be over that section, It will be written in a more Fancy font and Down in the right hand corner and Well that picture rocks and We dont want our skully covered up :D Again, Thank you Uranium Hobo! * Payments Money will be handled through Paypal, Its safe and secure!!. One account will be made for everyone to pay for their Calendar. The money within that account WONT BE TOUCHED by anyone. Including myself. A price has not been set yet, although dont worry, Its very affordable and Well cheaper than the calendars i normally see. * The Money Shall be saved and part of it put towards the following years calendar and The other Given to something of BodyMod.org choice - wether it be given to Adam himself or Montana (my idea for funding next years Skindependance) Maybe some to jenni For all her expenses for the Uk meet. Were not sure yet. But we have plenty time to sort that. A thread will be made for it. Where all suggestions are put forward. And Thats Kinda of It for now Guys. I shall post this hear and the front page.. Just to get the update accross. We still need your pictures but we are doing Great so far and Have already done so much. May i suggest lack of nudity?
I know this an adult site, but now we're talking about something we hang on our walls. Personally, I don't care one way or the other, if there's nudity, I'll just hang it in my room where the kids can't see it, but I'm sure there are a lot of people who have children, and don't have many places to safely hang that on their walls. |
