That confuses me, I've always used electrical tape and never heard that it was bad.
Nor did I ever heard of someone's lobes getting infected on account of the adhesive.

Haha.
Now I know =P

I haven't stretched any of my piercings before, but I have plans =). I wanna try something that I'm not too keen to discuss a whole lot because I just feel like that would take away from it, and I've had the strongest urge to get this done for a long, long time. Just haven't seen anyone else try it.
Anyway, it comes down to me wanting to stretch out a surface piercing. I don't have the piercing yet, and being a surface piercing, combined with the exposed location, I want to make sure I can get it good and healed before I try anything. So my question is this, about how long should I give it before stretching?? Like I said, I'm def' waiting until it's healed so I know that I can keep it, but I guess I just want conformation that I'm doing the right thing because I'm an after care freak with my piercings and stretching is new to me. I want to get it right ;).
When I go through with it, I'll probably be back here to ask more questions too haha.

honestly you'd have better luck if you started the surface piercing off at a larger size. then your skin will apply less psi to the jewelry and be less likely to reject while healing initially, and wouldn't require the stress of stretching once it has healed a bit. surface piercings are tricky to begin with, stretching them out will not usually end well.
