Jepp, exactly - just that I haven't seen *any* even somehow satisfactorily result... Plus, it's not just the money (I think it's even rather toward tens of thousands, so really beyond reach), there're may also be a heap of complications, and many are indeed quite common (fistulas/openings, hair growth inside the new urethra, ...). This wouldn't be a matter of one-off and lots of patience, it's also a matter of many hospital stays over a long period of time etc. I know of a few guys who went through it and still have to sit.
So, just for the sake of being able to p*** standing - which I highly value - i wouldn't consider it worth the effort. Maybe/hopefully it's different in a few years' time when I managed to collect that heap of cash

P.S. I think, "freeing" the former clit is also done to move it a bit higher up, to where a penis usually sits.
