Click for Full Size Thirty-three-year-old James Kevin Richardson was booked with tattooing a minor, and 24-year-old Brandi L. Richardson faces a charge of contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile. In June, deputies say the girl was at the Richardsons' residence and asked for and received a tattoo from James Richardson as his wife watched. Grant Parish Chief Deputy Preston Mosley says the girl's parents only recently discovered the tattoo. The charges are punishable by up to a year in jail." Source |

I don't know if I agree with the "contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile" label, but I DEFINITELY agree with punishing the artist. People like that give all the reputable artists a bad name, and make it harder on the people that actually do things right.

Dang okay where where her parents at when this was happening? yeah i belive the couple should get punished.. the contributing thing however i dont agree with... |

I do not encourage tattooing of minors. Personally, I wouldn't touch minors. But that body belongs to the kid. If she wants it and understands the consequences, she should be able to get a tattoo. If my 13-year-old asked for a tattoo, I'd be like "sure, why not, where do you want it". |

i think its a good thing of the age requirements in order to get a tattoo. except for the artists that work out of their home,etc, a reputable artist wont touch a kid. i know my choices for gettting what tattoo and where are far more thought out now than when i was a teenager. and in saying that, am SO glad i wasnt allowed to get any tattoos as a teenager

Thats really messed up and having a daughter would also cause me to wonder what else is going on. Most kids that age don't have the cash to pay for tattoos.
