I have a misspelled tattoo on my leg, but it wasn't the artist's fault, my ex had touched up the tattoo design the night b4 and I totally forgot to look over it in the morning...But, my tattoo artist thought I spelled it wrong on purpose cuz "daddy's little deffect" works I guess, anyway I agree.. The guy getting it done should have clued in and been like "HEY?!" so.. w/e mistakes happen to I guess

we make people write out the spelling of the word/ name on thier release form .... you would be surprised how many people cant spell thier own names :]

All I could think of with this was a line from The Offspring "He asked for a 13. But they drew a 31" Kinda shitty to have happend maybe a good cover up piece could atleast make it look better.

a lot of you people are dissing the artist, but most customers see a stencil of the artwork before it is being tattooed and even during...he did not complain directly after either! I can understand from a professional standpoint where Hacker is coming from saying that he was thinking of each letter as art and not the whole word ( although i admit he should bear a part of the blame) but if we start suing tattooists over something we did not check ourselves, where does personal accountability come in? Are the same people that blame the artist also blaming dunkin donuts because they did not warn people that coffee is hot or suing Palmolive because the grapefruit was not actually edible? Maybe some things could  be more specific-but that is where you also have those liabiltiy wiavers..if you feel the artist should be 100% responsible, then i believe it is your right to not sign it or walk away! That is why I am proud to wear the Hacker shirt in my Chi Tonw and will be posting my Chi Tonw tattoo this week! ps- Jade Dragon has some of the best tattooists in the country although they are a bit expensive, you get what you pay for!!!
