I am please to announce that I have finally finished migrating everything out of one of the main databases. Basically, everything that is not Forum and user related was stored in an Access database (yes...dumb), but now it's all in a nice SQL server and runnung a lot smoother now. My next task is to convert the user/forum database over. Once that's done, I think I just may have to spend the next weekend just sleeping...cuz I know it's going to kill me =)
g'night! .: Adam ps. There may be some bugs from the switch, so if you see any errors or mishaps around the site, please let me know. Thanks! |

Adam some of our members have experienced post pic swapping.... one persons pics in another person's post.... an example is http://www.bodymod.org/pierce/Mod~ID~6775~AltModID~1183.htm

I just noticed the AltmodID part.... if you take that out it displays the right pic, but I don't know how the members are seeing one and not the other at times.... maybe where the link is coming from? If you click on the mod list on the left pane is works right..... I am lost....

That link that you posted, where did you copy it from? It looks like the postings are fine, but maybe whatever is generating that link is messed up.
Thanks! .: Adam ps. Wait until you see the new forum after I get this thing upgraded...so many cool new features for you to play with =) |

A problem with posting a mod for me the following error after add it:
Active Server Pages error 'ASP 0113' Script timed out /hc/add-mod.asp The maximum amount of time for a script to execute was exceeded. You can change this limit by specifying a new value for the property Server.ScriptTimeout or by changing the value in the IIS administration tools. I've never had a problems posting any of my other graphics and this one us under 5mb and is jpg so would you know why I'm getting this error? I use Windows XP which usually doesn't support IIS, but as I say I have never had any problems using this site till today. Still Keeping it Red! Thxs, XEROFORM JACK |

You might want to try a smaller image, but most likely it's just the server being bogged down from all the work I'm doing to it on the backend.
Piece! .: Adam ps. Why keep it red? |

On average what would you recommend in size. Reason is on BME shannon is always asking for: the bigger the better. Give me a pixel width and length if you have time Adam, much appreciated,

i normally go by pixel dimensions. 1024x768 at 72 dpi is good enough. anything more would be just for prints =)
