I'm interested in trying urethral sounding simply because I'd like to get a penis plug but want to make sure that I can stretch to 1/4" which most plugs are, if not larger. There is a lot of info on how to use urethral sounds, but not any that I can find on how long are you supposed to leave them in (other than the obvious until you get bored with it). Can you leave it in for 10 min, an hour, overnight? How fast does do you get results where you can move up to the next larger size? How long does the larger size last - for example if I skip a week is all progress lost and I have to start over with the smallest size?

there's certainly going to be "advanced" things you need to know about this (especially if you plan on leaving it in), I highly suggest you find a forum (or a active sex forum with sub forum) about urethral sounding/plugs and such there's bound to be info your going to need (possible urethra widening ect)

on the subject of PA - don't believe everything you hear, lots of misinfo around (uncircumcised male and my foreskin was very irritated to the point I almost removed the piercing, it fits under my foreskin tho and when I take it out there's not extra excess skin). I don't piss like a rusty showerhead either as I don't retract my foreskin.

but your on the right track; a prince albert wand would be right up OP's alley and likely a better idea, I wear a CBR in mine and honestly it was my least painful piercing.
