I'm going to start running a trading card games club at my local bookshop. There will be Magic The Gathering, Pokemon, and Yu-Gi-Oh being played (maybe some more card games too).

Does anyone here play any trading card games and have any tips or ideas? Because the club will be free and I won't be paid for running it I can't really give free decks or event decks to players.

Also does anyone have any cool tattoos or other mods that relate to the artwork on these card games?

A lot of my friends and I played MTG back in the day and most of them still do. At one point they all picked their favorite card artwork and all got MTG tattoos. I dont have pics, sorry.

However, they do deck building tournaments where they all put in $20 and winners get boosters I believe. I dont exactly know how it works, but I can get details if you like.

Also, I believe Braids does these sorts of things.

you could buy a box of starter decks and sell them at a small profit margin just to keep things running

my brother loves MTG, i'm more of a videogame guy
