Hi guys! So, I stretched to a 2g today and the taper went in with no problem! However, for some reason I could not for the life of me get my stainless steel single flare tunnels in! I tried everything from using more jojoba oil to taping the tunnel to the taper. Nothing worked. After looking at the taper and tunnel side by side I noticed that the tunnel was literally a hair bigger than the taper. I know that leaving tapers in my ears is really bad, but I'm out of ideas. Does anyone have any ideas to help me get these tunnels in without hurting my ears or leaving these darn tapers in?

Stop using tapers and try using PTFE or bondage tape to stretch with as it will be better for your ears as you can do it just a little at a time rather than being restricted to the size of the taper.

Pending on what type of jewelry you had in before attempting your last stretch, try wrapping PTFE tape around the wearable area until it sits COMFORTABLY in your ear. If you feel pain, pressure, discomfort, stop, remove a layer of PTFE and try again.

Valuable advice when it comes to stretching: take it slow, use lots of lube, and always listen to your body.

Practice this and you should never have to worry about a blowout
Don't judge me monkey...
