So I had my lobes punched to a 2g about a year and a half ago. Everything healed up and went fine but awhile back the o-ring feel off one of my tunnels and I put new stainless steel tunnels in but they were still a 2g. Over the last couple weeks I've noticed it seemed like their was something rubbing against the back o-ring and after looking in the mirror it seems like I have some kind of blister or bump to appear. I took my gauge out but the bump hasn't shrunk any and has gotten pretty tender. Cant figure out whats wrong so any help would be much appreciated.

i could be a poor grade metal that you had in or possibly a reaction to the o-ring. what kind of o-ring is it? for me the black ones usually irritate my ears so i switched to the clear-ish silicone ones and that helped

Just a standard Stainless steel and internal threaded. I've wondered if that was what happened but wasnt sure if it would cause the bump.

It is hard to tell, but it looks like it could be a blowout, but you weren't stretching in over a year right?
