well my first question is are there any extra health/hygene measures i should take after getting my tongue peirced aside from rinsing my mouth with saline salution(not sure if i spelt saline right but whatever)
second: how long will it take for my tongue to heal around the piercing(assuming average human tissue repair/regeneration rates) third is what precautions and after care measures need to be taken with a split tongue (aside from the obvious ones of getting it done by someone reputable and keeping my mouth clean) |

I don't know where you're from, but around here (brazil) good piercers tend to instruct piercees to rinse their mouths with alcohol-free mouthwash after meals before rinsing with saline; and there's also a mouthwash called malvona that reduces swelling and eases healing, I don't know if there's anything like that around there
and splits are normally maintained the same way tongue piercings are, but with more enphasis on the importance of keeping it clean |
