Hi guys. I have some question about self-amputation :
1. Is it possible to self-amputate foot? (1-2 inches above ankles). 2. I know that toe/finger self-amputation is easy. Just I want to know How?! |

Hi there everyone (first post here):
I´m in the same case, but only want to amputate one fingertip without pain or blood. I mean, made by a doctor if it´s possible. I live in Spain so Medical care would not be a problem but: ¿Does someone know how to "fake" a simple accident (I mean, provocate an infecction or whatever) which became in the resukt of an amputation of one fingertip made by a safe doctor? I want to band a toe and amputate it. when I band a toe, after 2 hours, It's going to be numb. What time is needed to completely death?!

Yes, it is just exceedingly dangerous to do so even for a skilled surgeon using hospital equipment.
It is not easy. Even with experience, training and equipment it is a lot easier to get someone to help you. |

Provoking an infection is a bad idea. If it's bad enough to amputate, it's bad enough to kill you and it can go from manageable to dangerous really fast. If you're going to fake an accident, go with something that isn't life threatening.

It will vary depending on what use use to bind the toe and how tightly. |

Thanks. Can you say an average time?! for example, 6 hrs is enough?!

Either it will or not be long enough depending on the method you used, averages do not really have any meaning in a specific case scenario like this. It could be 30 mins or 72 hours. |
