It seems the new version of the site is pretty much not designed for doing blogs, more short face-book type status updates. I used to really like doing blogs on here and reading blog entries.

I was hoping the new improved version would encourage more people do blg about their mods, working in the industry, awesome concerts they went to and other cool stuff. But it seems that actually it is pretty difficult to blog on here now, I have tried a couple of times but it is not easy or rewarding to do anymore.

Over-all the new site is a big improvement but without a blog feature I log in, glance, and then log out.

I've found the same thing. It's the exact same reason I don't visit anymore. I like reading blogs, and it was the only thing seperating this site from Facebook or other social media.
As a whole this site actually seems easier to use on a mobile than the other site for me (despite some things like the lag in me typing to what appears to show up, and if youre not zoomed right in then uou cant read your post as the letters are blurred (not sure how to better phrase that)).

It's nice to be add photos to my status but I still want the blog feature to make a return.
